CHATHAM  HIGH  SCHOOL
Class  of  1963

Received the news today that Bob Allard passed away on Sunday, August 22.  Bob was such a fun guy, clever and witty, he will be missed.  I always remember him as the one with the light heart and comment that made him enjoyable to be around.  See the obituary at the Bradley Funeral Home site.  If you have any remembrances of Bob, send them along and I'll post them on this site. View what has been submitted here.

Ginny Lindemann has had foot surgery which has left her home-bound and in some agony.  Unfortunately, she doesn't have a PC, so email and Facebook, etc. are out.  If you want to reach Ginny, send  an email to me, and I'll reply with her address.  I'm loathe to put it on the site.

We are on Facebook.  Join us on the CHS63 Group.  We've had friends finding friends through this group.  Be there or b2. (Yikes, what a throwback.)
The Facebook page has a discussion board on when and where to hold the 50th.  We are looking for ideas and yours could win a valuable prize if your idea is selected!

Margie Sanders has a new exhibit in and Laguna Beach.
See the entire exhibit here
If you're in either community, stop by for this very creative endeavor.

Roy Nunn checked in via our Facebook group page.  He was in Newport Beach visiting with RJ (Jim) Lewy and Jack Finnell.

Margie King Sanders has a new exhibit.  Check it out!

Our Facebook Community is growing, if slowly.  With the new security features, things are getting better.  We've recently added Doug Kirchner to the list.

If you're on Facebook, register and ask to join the CHS 63 Group or just "become my friend."  I'll ask you to join the group.  It's semi-private (restricted to invitees/classmates only) designed mostly as a forum for us to exchange ideas on the 50th (Good Grief!!!) Reunion in 2013.

Betty and Josh traveled to California and visited with Margie (King) and Gary Sanders with daughter Laurie, Karen (Thompson) and Herb Niles and Jack Finnell.  A wonderful time was had by all.  We have started the planning for the 50th Reunion and our discussions were lively and fruitful.  More to come...

For the latest on what our classmates are up to, see the "Classmates Websites" section.  If you have a website and would like to share info with the class, email me.

If you have something going on, let me know.  I'll let the world know. Email me.

If you move or change email address or phones, you can click on the Update Info on the menu to the left or here.

Also, you can change data on the CHS Reunions site, which is being maintained by the School District of the Chathams (SCOC).

Two new features on the side menu.  Check out Reunion '13 and Classmate Websites.  More to come on the latter.

Good news.  I've renewed the website hosting and domain
name for another 2 years.
So keep the news and photos coming!
The bad news.  I don't have enough new info to publish now.  Fortunately (or unfortunately), I've been so busy at work that I haven't really had time to work on the site.

Also, I've redone the "missing email" page to make it easier to figure out.
If you can help find these folks, everyone would truly appreciate it.

Do you have any archival photos. Contact me.  If I get them, I'll treat them with utmost care.  I'll scan, burn a CD and return the originals and CD to you promptly.

I am always seeking new stuff.  Several classmates are looking through their photo albums and scrapbooks for old photos, newspaper articles, etc.  If you find some old photos, I always prefer digitized images, but I can accept photos and negatives.  I'll digitize them and return originals to you.  Click link to submit anything "newsy" or fun or poignant or to find out my snail-mail address.  LINK.  In the meantime, Enjoy.
